定义: (引擎)突然熄火; 突然失败或结束.
例句: His career flamed out almost as soon as it got started. (他的生涯才开始就突然结束)

02. flame up, to
定义: 着火, 火势扩大/爆发.
例句: As firemen opened the door and came in, the fire flamed up suddenly and filled the room. (当救火员开门进来的时候, 火势突然爆发, 笼罩了整个屋子)

03. flame war, a
定义: [网路术语]一系列激烈网上人身攻击及骂战.
