01. not much call for ..., be
定义: 对...需求量不大.
例句: There's not much call for interior designers in our area. (我们这里对室内设计师的需求量不大)

02. not much cop, be
定义: [英国]不怎样的, 不优秀, 不内行.
例句: I'm not much cop at sports. (我对运动不怎么在行)

03. not much good at ..., be
定义: 对于...(某一领域)不怎么熟练, 不内行或不善于.
例句: He loves you dearly, even though he isn't much good at telling you that. (他深着爱你, 虽然他不善于表达他的爱意)

04. not much of a ...
定义: 并不是怎样的... (注: 意指...不优秀, 不起眼, 不精彩; 假如你说He is not much of an actor, 你的意思是他不是个好演员)
例句: Tom's not much of a cook, but at least he gives it a shot. (汤姆虽然不是个优秀的厨师, 但起码他肯尝试一下)
