1a. 围绕:
a house with trees (all) around [=(chiefly Brit) round] it (被树林所环绕的房屋)
The people were seated around the table. (人们围桌而坐)
A crowd gathered around him. (人群围聚着他)

1b. 环绕:
He tied the rope around his waist. (他把一条绳子栓在腰部)
