以下面的考题为例, 主词明明是The task(一个任务, 单数名词). The task of delivering ten thousand census forms,
The task of delivering ten (1) thousand census forms (2) is (3) time-consuming and (4) exhausting. (5) no error

网友可以看到college education(大学教育), formal training(正式训练), prior experience(过去经验)三件十分对称的名词片语/词组. 所以突然冒出个they should have就使得第三个名词片语prior experience显得不对称. 如果把they should have拿走, 这句话就完美了.
Employers (1) favor applicants with (2) college education, (3) formal training, or (4) prior experience. (5) no error

市长昨天宣布announced(动词过去式)之后马上又加上plans to cut her office's budget by ten percent, 缩减她的办公室百分之十经费的计画来迷惑考生.
(1) Yesterday the Mayor announced plans (2) to cut her office's budget by ten percent, and (3) sent all staff members a letter (4) that explained her decisions. (5) no error

When John went to the (1) police, he (2) ended (3) up being detained for a crime he had not (4) committed. (5) no error

During the (1) playoffs, (2) the players as well as the managers (3) have been keeping their fans informed about their (4) morale. (5) no error

这句话最后的the driving test in Texas is far harder than Arizona一看就有问题. 第四个及第五个答案是错的: 已经有harder than的比较, 所以不需要再用in comparison to或compared to重复字眼.
Many student drivers insist that the driving test in Texas is far harder than Arizona.
(1) than Arizona
(2) than the test in Arizona
(3) than Arizona's test
(4) in comparison to Arizona
(5) compared to test in Arizona

这个trick(招数)就是使用A + along with + B的公式来解套; 也就是A跟着(随伴着)B一起之义.
Eating properly and taking daily exercise helps you lose weight.
(1) Eating properly and taking daily exercise
(2) Eating properly and exercising daily
(3) Eating properly, along with taking daily exercise,
(4) By eating properly and taking daily exercise
(5) Due to eating properly and taking daily exercise

这题简单许多, 它只是考你对to have the effect of这个成语是否熟悉.
Drinking alcohol has the effect to dull your senses.
(1) to dull
(2) to enforce
(3) in dulling
(4) of dulling
(5) by dulling

John brang three job acceptance letters to his dad with a smile of triumph on his face.
(1) John brang three job acceptance letters to his dad with a smile of triumph on his face.
(2) John brought three job acceptance letters to his dad with a smile of triumph on his face.
(3) John, with a smile of triumph on his face, brang three job acceptance letters to his dad.
(4) Smiling triumphantly, John brought three job acceptance letters to his dad.
(5) Wearing a smile of triumph on his face, three job acceptance letters were brought by John to his dad.

According to the report, teen-pregnancy is far more popular among American high school students than among Japanese students.
(1) than among Japanese students
(2) than students in Japan
(3) compared to Japanese high school students
(4) than teen-pregnancy is among high school students in Japan
(5) than its popularity among Japanese students
